Yamaha is rolling out quite a few new items this year, and one of them is a new compact soundbar targeting those who prefer to keep a smaller footprint at home. At only 23-inches in length, this new soundbar will be great for small TV setups and larger TVs all the same (depending on how much sound you need in the room).
Guaranteed to sound better than the speakers built into your TV, especially when coming from a company like Yamaha who is known for its position in the audio industry (on all levels). It features dual-passive radiators inside, as well as a built-in subwoofer (although, it would be a small one). It can sit in front of the TV or mount on the wall and comes with customizable sound virtual surround modes, including standard, stereo, game, and movie.
With all of your typical connections on the back (HDMI Arc, optical, and analog), you should be able to tie it into any scenario–even Bluetooth.
It will be launching this fall for $179.95 MSRP. So you still have a bit of a wait, but it will at least roll out in time for the holidays.
