Nooie, a company with a number of security camera solutions already in the market, has launched an additional product into market that can be mounted just about anywhere. It is the new Nooie Cam Pro, a 2K security camera that takes on a similar design to the company’s video doorbell (which also features a 2K resolution), pushing for competitive resolution and features.
Like the doorbell, the new camera offers what looks to be a strong outer-shell similar to durable PVC-made outdoor furniture. This should allow it to withstand multiple environments for years to come (mostly depending on the lifespan of the battery inside more than anything).
It can be mounted virtually anywhere due to it taking on a familiar magnetic design that is found in many of today’s modern wireless security cam solutions. The camera simply attaches to its mount via magnet so that it can easily/quickly be removed or placed, and can be moved around to other mounts as you see fit (additional mounts sold separately, of course). It can also sit flat on surface without the use of the mount.
You have multiple options for power, including its built-in battery (5,000 mAh) which allows you to take it completely wireless. For a longer outdoor experience, you can attach an optional solar unit (sold seperately) to it so that you don’t have to worry about taking it down to charge at any point. You can also plug it into the wall using the included USB cable.
It offers the familiar features you’d find with most security cameras, including (but not limited to) night vision, digital zoom (up to 8x), motion detection, two-way audio, and the ability to either save the collected images/video locally (SD Card) for free or via the cloud (as low as $3/mo or $33/year).
The MSRP is $299 as it does come in a kit with two cameras and one base station. It just started rolling out, but you should find it at Amazon soon. You can shop Nooie products here.
