In the latest distraction videos to take your mind off of other things going on in the world (or with Tesla), the company recently released a new video showing how its vehicles are driving themselves at the factory between points of manufacturing and shipment.
Specifically, it shows vehicles leaving the factory after being freshly juiced up by staff via Superchargers, making their way toward the loading dock (without any drivers) where trucks scoop them up and take them to their new owners. They traverse various sections of factory roads and then park themselves as a large autonomous fleet of newly built cars. Filling in the various spots of a large parking lot.
Assuming that none of the video has been doctored any, it shows how the company is taking advantage of its FSD features to minimize the amount of staff required to manage these tasks. Potentially (and likely significantly) creating a very efficient system.

This also gives a peak into the future of what the company would like to see take place, with driverless automated taxis (and eventually personal vehicles) taking to the roads everywhere. Elon Musk has recently come out to say that Tesla plans to roll out its driverless taxis in Texas sometime in June. Leading only a handful of months between now and then to make it happen.
Of course, this isn’t just something he can do on his (or Tesla’s) own, since something like that requires a deep level of political and regulative approval. So it will be interesting to see what takes place between now and then. This likely has a lot to do with his obsessed support for the President throughout his campaign (as he is going to now need that kind of support himself if he really wants to fast-track everything).
