Best Buy is having a sale on 12-month subscriptions for Xbox Live Gold, striking the price down to only $39.99. That makes it only $9.99 a quarter–what it would normally cost you monthly if you took a monthly plan vs yearly. A pretty good deal if you think about it and a perfect excuse to add on another year to whatever you have so far.
The greatest thing about Xbox Live is that it works for both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. There is no need to get a separate subscription for both unless you want multiple people to be able to play at the same time.
