Gamesir has returned once again to deliver another mobile gaming controller for smartphone users. Taking things further with deeper performance, the new controller focuses on modern parts and techniques to deliver the smoothest gaming experience. It is the new Gamesir G8 Galileo Mobile Gaming Controller.
The new controller takes advantage of the ever-so-popular Hall Effect sticks and triggers to offer more precise control without being affected by joystick drift over time. Something that most of the major players in the industry have been leaning toward for added durability and performance.
It also offers pass-through charging for your device so that you never have to worry about a dead battery if you are near an outlet. The controller itself doesn’t have a battery so it does have to rely on your smartphone for juice otherwise.
You even get a headphone port, which is important since most flagship smartphones now have dropped it from their design. This gives the port back to you as you are gaming so that you can listen in without having to disturb anyone around you.
Beyond that, it takes on the Xbox style for buttons (ABXY) with triggers at the top. In most cases (pun unintended), you have to take your phone out of its case in order for it to connect properly. But it does support pretty large number of models due to its ability to expand between 110-185 mm in length and USB-C connectivity. You can find additional specifications below.
It is currently available now via Amazon for a $79.99 MSRP and can only be found in the color of silver as seen above.
