Mobvoi has announced the latest generation of its Pro series with the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS Smartwatch. A smartwatch focused on productivity, health, and (thankfully) battery life. The new watch begins shipping out today behind a series of promotions the company has held to ramp up consumer hype.
It features dual screens, including the normal AMOLED screen, along with a low-powered display on top that is similar to what you find with certain devices from companies like Samsung (typically used for a lock screen or always-on display). Other models from Mobvoi offer a low-powered display as well, but the company is promising either 72 hours or 45 days worth of use on a single charge, depending on which mode is enabled (Smart Mode vs Essential Mode).
Inside, you’ll find a Snapdragon Wear 4100 Platform and Mobvoi dual-processor system powering everything, which should lead to smooth interaction and fast menu operations. It makes use of five global satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou) to help track your journey as you adventure out into the wild, or simply need to find your way around the city.
In the realm of health, there are a number of things the watch helps you track to help keep an eye on your daily health. This includes a heart rate monitor with Irregular Heart Beat (IHB) detection and mental fatigue assessment. It also offers blood oxygen monitoring, and as always, tracks everything as you sleep.
Running on Google’s Wear OS, you have access to all of your favorite apps, along with a slew of Mobvoi’s own, dedicated to tracking your daily workouts, weather, time management, music, and more.
The new smartwatch is available now with an MSRP of $299.
