Samsung’s 105-inch 4K Curved UltraHD LED Smart 3D TV available for purchase by consumers (at a price)

Fess up! You know you want one of these in your mega living room. Sadly though, it may not fit within your wallet’s comfort zone (unless you’re one of the lucky few in the “1%” of society). This summer, Samsung finally launched its famous 105-inch Ultra HD TV (model UN105S9) to the consumer market. They have been bragging about it and showing it off at shows like CES for a few years now, and now it could be yours.

It is gigantic, and it takes up a lot of space with its stand. It also weighs 200 pounds “without the stand”, so although the studs in your wall could technically handle it just fine (as long as you install it properly), you may want to invite as many friends over as possible to put it there. Else, you are better off keeping it on the ground.

One of the very first things you notice with this TV is its stand. Unique to any other TV on the market past and present, it resides within a square frame that extends below it to the ground, with two legs in the back that look like kickstands. Second thing you notice is obviously it’s curve design.

It has a refresh rate of only 120hz but a “Clear Motion Rate” (effective) of 1440. It is LED backlit thankfully as bleeding due to an edge-lit design would be quite noticeable with its size.

We have not been able to review this model since it isn’t within our budget and Samsung probably doesn’t want simply to send us one to test. So all we can do is boast about how big it is (no pun intended) and warn you that we have no clue of any drawbacks that it may have (outside of its weight).

The biggest thing slowing you down from slapping one of these into your living room is the fact that this monster will set you back $120,000! That is a lot of Benjamins right there. If that is within your budget, we highly recommend contacting us to let us know your thoughts so that we can best run an opinion piece on it. This way the world can at least have an idea about what they are drooling all over.
