Plex has announced that they have teamed up with Tidal to add their music streaming service to the Plex media server platform, adding to the long list of features it delivers.
Not only does Plex give you the ability to stream all of your music, movies, TV series, photos, and more from your personal collection; but you can also listen to podcasts, watch live TV, check in on your favorite news streams, and more. Now, you can add Tidal to the mix, opening up Tidal’s collection of high-definition music as wells as hundreds of thousands of music videos, concert live streams, and more.
At the moment, the new feature is only available to iOS and Android mobile users as well as the Plex web app, with additional platforms coming in the future (ie, Android TV and Apple TV). You do have to be an active subscriber with Tidal to take advantage of it (of course). In the meantime, if you are a Plex Pass subscriber, you can get a free 30-day trial via this page on Plex’s website.
