Microsoft announced the new Microsoft Band at its #Windows10Devices event in New York City today, featuring a whole new curved design that looks smooth, sleek and should prove to be a lot more comfortable to wear around the wrist. The new Band features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 surface to help protect against scratches and damage and a nice looking OLED screen beneath. An audio lab found in Building 87 on Microsoft’s campus in Redmond Washington happens to contain something unique to the world. An anechoic chamber surrounded by acoustic correction that absorbs all (possible) sound, and brings the noise level of the room to a record breaking -20dB (decibels). This actually follows up our previous coverage on Microsoft announcing FLAC compatibility in Windows 10. Joe Belfiore (Microsoft) has also pointed out that Windows Phones running the new OS will support the format as well.
